Q

I need to create/print a poster for an upcoming conference. I'm wondering if I can do both at the HSL? And what the turn-around time on printing is?

Answer

Hi,

Regarding poster production, all HSL public computers have Power Point and we provide an online tutorial that provides instruction on using Power Point to create a poster. We will also schedule a meeting with you to discuss poster content and design if you would like that assistance. Use the Ask a Librarian page to send a consultation request. Also, the Undergraduate Library has a Media Design Studio with some specialized design software.

Regarding printing, we are a pick-up location for PhD posters and here are other poster printing options.

Our Media Design Services guide offers additional information about poster creation.
