If a book is listed as being located in Health Sciences Library Reserve Room does that mean it cannot be checked out?

Answer

Basically it depends upon what item you're specifically looking for, as Reserve items are a little different from regular circulating material.

In general, ALL Reserves must be *checked out* BUT it doesn't mean that the item can be *taken out* of the building.

MOST Reserves are "Library Use Only"...which means that those can only be used here at HSL for a very limited period of time.

However, there are a FEW that *may* be categorized as "4 hour" OR "1 day" & these can be taken out of the library...BUT only a handful has this designation AND the instructor ultimately decides IF and for HOW LONG a Reserve item may circulate.
