Answer

Yes, current UNC hospital staff, along with all UNC-CH staff, students and faculty can access most library resources from off-campus. One exception important to hospital staff is MicroMedex. It is only available while on campus.

You will be asked to enter your Onyen and password the first time you click on a link to a library resource in each off campus session.

Use the Onyen Services page to create an Onyen or manage your Onyen password.

You will need to know your PID number to create an Onyen. Look up your PID number here.

If you have questions or problems related to off-campus access to library resources, please use the contact information on the HSL’s Ask a Librarian page to request further help.
