Answer

First, library resources are available on campus to anyone working from a computer linked to the UNC-CH network. The Health Sciences Library has 5 guest workstations that do not require UNC-CH logins. Please register at the nearby User Services desk to obtain an access code for these machines.

Vendor licenses do restrict off-campus access to library purchased electronic resources to people who are current UNC-CH faculty, students or staff.

It is possible to purchase access to the licensed clinical resources in the AHEC Digital library by joining the Friends of the Library at a particular level. Please note, the resources available through the ADL subscription are not the same as those that are available to UNC affiliates. Click on the link to the "list of resources" on this page for a current list of licensed resources in the ADL .

Another option would be to use the fee-based Request a Copy service to order articles owned by HSL as needed.
