How do I access library resources off campus?

Hi,

If you are UNC-Chapel Hill faculty, student, staff or UNC hospitals staff you will be asked to enter your ONYEN/Password when you connect to a resource from a library link. You can find library links on the HSL resources page.

If you are affiliated with the university and are having difficulty getting access, please get in touch with us.

Always start your search from a library link--even for Google Scholar. The library links to electronic resources include the Find @ UNC logo on the search results pages.

You can use the library catalog to find links to electronic journals and books: https://catalog.lib.unc.edu/

If a library record says that we own a resource and you are asked to pay for access, please get in touch with us. We will troubleshoot the problem.

Information about off campus access can be found on the following webpage: https://hsl.lib.unc.edu/accessresources
