How do I pull up the table of contents for a handful of big journals that I would like to check each week - JAMA, NEJM, Lancet, BMJ, JNCI?

The easiest way to do this is using a stored search in PubMed. You can either have the results emailed to you, or you can go to PubMed and run the search, or both.

You can use this guide from PubMed on how to search for journals.

Once you have completed a search, you can select "Create Alert" under the search box to receive email updates for your search. You can also select "Save" to save the search to your account. For more information on saving searches and creating alerts, see our guide on searching PubMed.

In order to save a search in PubMed you need to use a My NCBI account. When you click "Save", as mentioned above, you will be asked to login. Select "more login options", and select University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill which will lead you to log in with your Onyen/Password.
