Information about the h-index and h-graph

In Scopus:

  • Go to Scopus (linked in the Quick Links box of the HSL home page)
  • Click on Authors
  • Enter Author names and affiliation
  • Select the author of interest from the result list and click on View Citation Overview.
  • The h-index is listed in the upper right next to a link to the h-graph

In Web of Science:

  • Go to Web of Science (linked in the Quick Links box of the HSL home page)
  • Click on More and then on Author Search
  • Enter the author name.
  • Check the results  to make sure they are all for the same author. Modifying your search by an institution or research area may help focus noisy results.
  • If multiple authors remain, select the articles by the author of interest and store them on the marked list.
  • Go to the marked list
  • Then click "Create Citation Report" on the right-side. The h-index should appear in the report.
