What is the annual cost for individual access to UNC-CH electronic resources for people who are not current faculty, students, or staff?

First, library resources are available on campus to anyone working from a computer linked to the UNC Chapel Hill network. The Health Sciences Library has 5 guest workstations that do not require UNC Chapel Hill logins. Please register at the nearby User Services desk to obtain an access code for these machines.

Vendor licenses do restrict off-campus access to library purchased electronic resources to people who are current UNC-CH faculty, students or staff.

If you are based at a different site, you may be eligible for AHEC Digital Library (ADL) access. The ADL ensures that all providers in the state have high-quality health information readily available through a variety of membership categories, ranging from access to free resources to paid subscriptions. By using the ADL, you can get full-text journals, books, and electronic databases of the literature, as well as links to carefully evaluated health information websites and clinical and educational tools.
