How do I select a journal that matches the article I want to submit?

There are several tools that can match you up with journals.  Check the HSL's Choosing Where to Publish guide to see tools that will use your title or abstract to match you with journals, such as JANE (the Journal Author Name Estimator).  You can also search in some databases (CINAHL, PsycInfo, Web of Science, Scopus, etc.) for your topic and see the list of publications with similar articles in the filters column on the results pages.  For PubMed, you can use a tool like PubReMiner to analyze your search and see the journals with the most articles on your topic.  Finally, you can ask a librarian to help you find a journal!
