Can I donate books, journals, and other items to the Health Sciences Library?

We typically only accept print titles published in the past five years, within scope of our collection policies, and not currently included in our electronic collection. We also will consider adding print materials authored by UNC faculty. UNC’s Wilson Library curates rare and historic items. If you have items you believe might fall in this category, we encourage you to contact them directly at wilsonlibrary@unc.edu.

For items that we are unable to add, we suggest considering a donation to Better World Books, an organization that finds homes for donated book titles around the world. You can locate your nearest drop box at: https://support.betterworldbooks.com/hc/en-us/articles/200605957-Drop-Box-Locations.
